The work brings together two real landmarks from the area between Vlădiceni and Tomești, captured on the same walk in 2023 on the hills of Iași. Both structures share an identical metal construction, and their closeness in the frame sparked the idea of overlaying them in a single composition.
The illustration thus sets two forms of “connection” face to face, one spiritual and one technological, merged into a single visual object, which also led to other visual explorations using the same graphic motifs.
The sky, rendered in pointillist textures, suggests the constant, almost imperceptible presence of the digital flow that accompanies everyday life. The text Free Wi-Fi underlines this relationship, turning the meeting of the two structures into a comment on how we look for connection today.
