Catedrala Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Cathedral
Photograph taken from a boat on the Sulina branch, in the Danube Delta. The image captures the real juxtaposition of a church tower and a telecommunications antenna, a visual contrast created without digital tricks.
A key frame in my portfolio, the work took two years of planning: noticing the initial perspective, then deliberately returning on the water to place the camera exactly on the line of alignment between the religious symbol and the technological one.
This photograph became the starting point and direct inspiration for an entire later series centred on exploring the contrasts between antennas and sacred symbols within the same composition.
