Starting 25 November, Victoria Gallery, together with Alexandru Burlacu, Grafo Dragoș and Alex Dromp, invites you to walk through Peace and Fear.
As the title suggests, “Beyond Peace and Fear” reflects states that are often repressed, through contrasting associations of sound, brushstrokes and vectors, or carries visual histories “hidden in plain sight”.
The concept of the exhibition
The centrepiece of the exhibition for Grafo Dragoș was “Cedează Trecerea Datelor” (Give Way to Data), a ready-made sculpture that alters a road sign. The intervention makes us ask where our data flows and who sets the priorities in a society dominated by speed.
